Description
The Flashforge Dreamer 3D printer is a fully enclosed dual extruder 3D printer. It is an extremely versatile and easy to use printer. It’s features mean that you can print in a broad range of filament materials and print with two different colours and/or two different materials at the same time.
It is ready to print out of the box with a 3.5-inch HD IPS full colour touchscreen display and intuitive navigation control it is super easy to manually adjust print settings and print. Alternatively the Flashforge Dreamer has WiFi and USB connectivity so you can control the printer from your computer using Flashforge’s FlashPrint software.
Flashforge Dreamer features
Dual extruders – The Dreamer’s proprietary dual extrusion system means that you can print complex 3D models that require a solid infill. You will be able to print complex models using materials like ABS and PLA and use dissolvable PVA filament for the other end which can simply be washed away to leave the the end result.
Open Filament System – The Dreamer can use a wide range of filaments. As well as the standard PLA the Dreamer is capable for printing in ABS, PVA, TPU, T-Glass and composite filaments like wood and metal impregnated PLAs. It’s fully enclosed build, in combination with its heated bed, reduces the likely hood of warping and improves first layer adhesion.
For PLA the dreamer makes use of its 4 cooling fans which are automatically activated when the temperature of the extruder and print chamber reach specified values. This ensures that the PLA will cool down fast enough, reducing stringing and improving the quality of your 3D print. For Best results with PLA simply leave the door open and remove the top lid.
Heated Aluminium print bed – The print bed is constructed from 6.3mm Aerospace grade Aluminium. The high quality printbed ensures that the bed is flat and stays flat even after repeated cycles of heating and cooling. The Aluminium bed also heats evenly to improve bed adhesion and reduce warping.
Enclosed Print Chamber – In 3D printing cooling has a strong effect on the consistency of 3D prints. Fast and uncontrolled cooling of your model during printing results in the increased risk of warping and layer adhesion problems. Enclosing the print environment slows down the cooling process and makes it more consistent which will give you better quality prints. In addition using an enclosed print area helps stop dust and debris from contaminating the print environment.
Stable and strong construction & high quality components – The Dreamer is built using top quality components. The motors and power supply are from some of the worlds top suppliers. All the metal and plastic components are molded so that their is a consistency in the construction of the Dreamer. With 3D printers it is important that they are constructed using accurate dimensions and that there is a high level of precision other wise these errors can get translated into your 3D prints.
