Description
Why the Nobel 1.0A stereolithographic (SLA) 3D printer
The XYZprinting Nobel 1.0A is the latest upgrade to XYZ Printing’s successful prosumer level, stereolithographic 3D printer. The Nobel1.0A is a second generation SLA 3D printer that will provide high resolution stereolithography 3D printing at an affordable price.
The Nobel 1.0A has over twice the precision of it’s predecessor with an X/Y resolution of 0.13mm and faster printing.
Stereolithographic printers use light to cure resin in layers building up a 3D design, they have a greater resolution that traditional FDM 3D printers and are more suited for fine work.
The Nobel 1.0A SLA 3D printer features
XYZ printing’s SLA printer uses UV laser light reflected from an actuated mirror to cure photopolymer resin, forming solid layers of resin in a pattern determined by the 3D design. Each layer is traced at the surface of a resin reservoir joining that layer to the previous and the print platform slowly rises as a new layer is added.
XYZ have increased the The Nobel 1A lasers precision to 130 microns giving increased accuracy even for highly detailed and complex models. The Nobel 1.0A also prints faster than it’s predecessor.
The XYZ’s 1.0A SLA printer is extremely easy to use and set up. You can be up and printing in less than a minute with a simple one button printing operation. Filling the resin tank and calibrating this SLA 3D printer is easy. The XZY Nobel can monitor the printing of objects during the printing process to tell you how much resin is remaining in the reservoir.
The Nobel 1.0A uses photopolymer resins. A number of new resin materials are available, and have been developed, for the Nobel 1.0A. As well as established Acrylic photopolymer resins the Nobel 1.0A can also use new Flexible and Castable resins. This makes the Nobel 1.0A XYZprinting’s most versatile SLA printer to date. We also stock spare Nobel 1.0 resin tanks so that you can easily switch between colours mid print.
Use third party resins using the Open smart tag – all the great printing quality of the nobel 1.0A but you can use third-party resins.
The Nobel 1.0A is a plug’n play SLA 3D printer that can be easily setup and can be interfaced with via USB directly or using a USB flash drive.
