The Da Vinci Color Mini uses XYZ printings latest CMY Inkjet technology 3 in 1 cartridges s you can print in full colour using their special CPLA ink absorbing PLA. The Color Mini gives all the great function of the Da Vinci Color but in a sleek design with a small footprint. At only 24.5kg it is the most affordable versatile full colour 3D printer on the market.

So, as previously said, the Da Vinci color is the most accessible desktop full colour 3D printer on the market. Traditionally , full colour 3D printers are extremely expensive but with XYZ printing’s 3D printing inkjet technology full colour 3D printing is now an affordable option. This capability is great for creating prototypes that have the look of the finished product, creating bespoke products for sale or prototyping design ideas and architectural designs.

However, The Color Mini is not just a color printer, its a high quality standard FDM 3D printer too. It will print PLA, PETG, and carbon, metallic impregnated PLA’s with its HSS printhead (sold separately). It prints at high accuracy ( XY positioning precision: 0.0125mm, positioning precision: 0.0004mm) at layer resolutions of 0.1-0.4mm.

The Da Vinci Color Mini uses XYZ’s NFC (Junior) optimised filaments, to give you the perfect print every time. Using the NFC filament automatically sets the optimal print settings for your filament. But, if you are worried about not being able to use your favourite brand of filament, the Color Mini is also compatible with XYZ’s Open Smart Tag so you can use any filament your want that is compatible with he hardware capabilities of the printer.

The enclosed build area contributes to the high extrusion consistency of this printer by removing local environmental variability and drafts from interfering with the print. The enclosed build area is also a great safety feature, the printing process will stop when the top cap or the front door are opened.

It’s Easy to use! Not only does it have Wifi connectivity so you can control it from anywhere also it features a 9-point Auto Bed Calibration and XYZprinting Ez-removable Print bed to remove the hassle from getting your prints out of the printer.

This printer has great on-board software, including a 5″ LCD screen for easy control. The onboard software interface is very intuitive and easy to use.

The is also an option to use a Laser engraver (purchased separately) so you can enhance your designs. The laser engraver works on paper, cardboard, leather, wood, and plastic.
