Photocentric White UV resin comes in two forms, the UV laser resin is compatible with higher powered UV laser SLA printers and is optimised for 405nm whereas the DLP version is compatible with lower powered DLP printers at 380-405nm (Make sure you select the correct type). Their Hard UV photopolymer is ideal where hard objects are required that will not bend or compress. They have very high tensile shear properties and have very low elongation.
By using their hard resin you will benefit from fast exposure times with a wide exposure latitude so that you will achieve good results over a wider range of exposure conditions. The other great benefit is the price! Photocentric hard resin is considerably cheaper than comparable UV SLA or DLP resins. So get great results at a great price.
About Photocentric UV resins
Photcentric’s UV resins are designed to work with a wide range of laser printers accommodate both open and closed mode resin profiles. Their UV laser resins are formulated to work at 405nm and so can be used with popular laser printers like the Form 1+, Form 2 & Moai . For lower powered printers their DLP range of resins should be used as these can operate from 380nm-405nm. The solid material is tough, durable and long lasting provided it is stored in dry conditions away from strong UV light.
Follow the procedures laid out in your 3D Laser printer ́s user manual. Polymer should be poured into the tray away from direct sunlight. Polymer can be reused but should be poured through a filter to remove solid lumps. Keep hood on at all times. Liquid polymer is soluble in water and soap. After cleaning, objects surface tack can be removed by leaving under water in UV for 20 minutes or longer. If any surface tack persists you can remove it by wiping the parts with IPA.
