Each Makerbot filament colour is comprehensively quality tested at 100-micron and 200- micron layer resolutions on MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers to verify it will perform every feature that MakerBot® MakerWareTM software offers.
MakerBot ABS Filament requires a heated build platform. MakerBot ABS Filament adheres well to kapton tape on heated build plate. ABS is more prone to warping than PLA so a Heated bed and/or heated print chamber are required. Good first layer adhesion is essential so ensure that you have a level, grease free, build platform and an appropriate z-height.
